Approved Artist Roster, Patz Fowle has taught the innovative
The Patz Process Ceramic Technique
for hand building clay animals to thousands of students nationally and internationally. The
Patz Process Ceramic Technique and works of art utilizing
her method are featured in art publications and art text books nationwide.
I am available for one day presentations, four-five day Artist-in-Residence
or up to three weeks according to your needs, schedule and budget.

Using Visual Arts Standards:  Grades K-12 
Students will create unique hand built animals in clay.
Below is an example of a 4 day residency 20-22 hours total
PowerPoint Presentation: (optional one day)
These exciting and stimulating visual examples created by Ceramic Artist
Patz Fowle, will jumpstart the imagination and show teachers and students
what can be created in clay using this innovative technique.
Demonstration: Visiting artist will demonstrate this innovative
technique and show how it is used to create animals and other objects in clay.
3-4 days of Hands-on Student Experience: Visiting artist will guide students and teachers "step-by-step" through this easy to learn clay technique.
The students will create 1- 4 unique animals in clay.
(Depending on the amount of classroom time and how many times each student
will attend class during the residency)
This technique is used in other clay applications such as attaching clay to wheel thrown work, coil built pieces or pinch pots.
Using my straightforward technique and tools it is easy and fun for students (and adults) to learn step-by-step
how to hand build creative creatures in clay.
