Vinny Van Goat is a stoneware sculpture reminiscent of one of my favorite artists, Vincent Van Gogh "if" he were also part domestic farm animal!
Vinny is sporting his favorite Starry Night colors and on his shirt are his beautiful, swirling brush strokes.
While I was making this piece I couldn't help but be inspired by Robert Arneson who is one of my favorite ceramic artists. What an inspiration they both were...and will continue to be.
