Artist Statement
As an impassioned and curious student of life, I have always found the endless possibilities of clay to be the ideal medium in which to express my thoughts and ideas. I throughly enjoy the process of creating humorous, emotional looking, characters from a simple lump of clay. When it's done just right, I hope my clay characters invite you to see the world from "their" point of view.
To some degree, I attribute the characterstic style that my work embodies to the fact that I am self-taught.
