I work in porcelain and stoneware clay for it's endless possibilities.
Thirty five years ago I developed an original technique for creating clay sculpture, and I think because of that discovery, my art speaks with a unique visual voice.
Being a curious student of life, I often explore a surreal minds-eye-view where perhaps animals 'think' as we do and could possibly take on the attitudes and personalities of people. An undeniable psychological connection between humans and their pets allow for these clay narratives to be expressed.
My passion comes from combining imagination and clay, creating
a silent "visual" dialog between the viewer and the art.
